EATALY AND BIOVA PROJECT: WE DRINK THE WASTE.

The historic Eataly Lingotto store becomes the starting point of a partnership dedicated to the fight against food waste.


From their wood oven, in fact, we have recovered 150 kg of unsold bread and transformed in 2500 liters of craft beer.


Eataly's bread is a bread-making excellence: baked in a wood oven according to a completely artisanal process, from raw materials of absolute excellence, which make it a masterpiece of baking art.



Recovered bread has been transformed in a Session Ipa Leggera, according to the recipe owned by Biova Project. Bread replaces 40% of barley malt necessary for brewing, saving on virgin raw materials: a fundamental principle for the sustainability of the food chain.



And so Biova Eataly was born! Very fresh, summery, light. Only 3.6% of alcohol, but a taste that knows how to be felt, a touch of salt given by the bread and a lot of taste given by citrus hops.
